I suppose this is more like a 1.5 star rating. It wasn't the worse thing I've ever read; it just was a meh for me. It just didn't do anything for me. I've read reviews that say you have to like snarky. This goes beyond snarky into just ridiculousness. Charley's just one of those kind of girls that I can't stand. Can she take anything seriously? A light and fun read. I really enjoyed the main character Charley, a PI and grim reaper. She's witty and sarcastic, strong and sexy. The love interest is also quite sexy, though we don't get to see him all that much throughout the story. But when we finally find out more about him...let's just say I'm very curious and excited for the next book! The side characters are all interesting and lovable as well. I had a great time reading this book.
