I really didn't want to read these books. All the hype, YA, etc. etc. Then for a challenge (BSB R2), I read the first one. Then I really wanted to read the 2nd right away but due to other challenges, $$$, etc. etc., I put it off. Still concerned about the hype and YA, I hesitated to choose it for this round...after finishing Catching Fire late last night, I bought Mockingjay first thing this morning and have already started it. Not waiting for a challenge, said forget the $$, etc., etc.

Really enjoyed it. I don't think it was as well written as the first one, a little rushed maybe? Either way still amazing.

I liked Hunger Games better but this was a good follow up! Just seemed the "games" were forced and a little odd.
