I read 'Catching Fire' right after I finished 'The Hunger Games'. No breather, no time to sleep. I was that into the series. I am just glad that the next book was already out. I was initially disappointed with the beginning. Thinking the author has skipped over Gale and Katniss's first meeting. Figured maybe he is not really a contender and that Peeta is the sole hero to the story. However, the book picks up. I like the direction the story is moving in. I liked the book. I've already started the last one of the series. Although, I like my books to be relatively small, digestible bits- between 300- 400 pages, the books in this trilogy run together so much they could easily be just one long book. None of them stands alone even a little bit. This is the second book in the Hunger Games trilogy (after The Hunger Games) and one I approached with a littl

I couldn't put this book down! From the moment I started this book I didn't want to stop reading it.

Katniss and Peeta are now scheduled for the victory tour. They will be going around and visiting the other districts. Katniss has feelings for both Gale and Peeta.

President Snow comes to visit Katniss at her house to warn her that she must prove to the districts that she did this out of undying love for Peeta to prevent a rebellion. This adds to Katniss' concerns for her family and friends. She f

Brilliant. I should be doing other things today, but just couldn't put this book down. Katniss is fab, but Peeta is just a darling.
I need to go and do some work now, but what I really, really want to do is pick up book 3.
