Mackenzie has been on the run from a crazy stalker and ends up bartending in Louisiana. Her boss hires PI, Jackson to make sure Kenzie is ok. This ends up being her introduction to the supernatural world and her stalker turns out to be more scary than she had thought.

This was a very good book. The characters are very interesting. It had intrigue and suspense and romance. It was the romance that kept this from being a 5 star for me. I felt it was very forced at times and some of the dialogue was really corny. But that's just my opinion and could very well be because of the mindset I am in at the moment. Overall I really enjoyed it and will certainly recommend it and read the next one.
