Cute, but forgettable. 
I’m not a huge fan of men writing a female main characters point of view bc so many times I think ‘yeah, we wouldn’t do/say that or respond/act that way. We just don’t think the same in certain situations. In my opinion very few men can get it right. But that’s me & this is a cute cozy sort of fantasy type book so I say go for it.
Just wasn’t for me.
Can’t win ‘em all in the book lottery.
