What is the guy on the cover doing? The first time a saw this all I could think of was "strike a pose, VOGUE" that Madonna song. LOL

Not as good as her earlier Breed works, but a worthwhile addition to the series. Navarro is a recessed Wolf Breed, and Mica the human friend of Cassie Sinclair, the clairvoyant girl from early, early in the series. There are lots of characters floating around from this series, so an index of names and activities, or a super-sharp memory, would be most useful.

I really had a hard time finishing this one. In fact, I didn't. I read this book by audiobook and really had difficulty with the heroines whining and lack of self esteem. This book is like a 3.5 for me, but i'm rounding it down to just 3. Not sure if it's my reading mood, or i have become used to main characters that i don't feel like smacking them for almost the entire book. I guess i can let it go for a bit, as i can understand being afraid to get hurt....but to only get their heads out of their @$#^%, only a few pages from the end is beyond annoying.
