It wasn't amazing or anything, kind of typical maybe, with a vampire, although they are called by a different name and they don't need blood to survive, but still vampires, meeting a girl from another race and falling in love and etc etc... the vampire-a-like can read minds and moodes, there is a bad "evil" type of vampires who feed on other's emotions (they don't appear much in the story), and the female's race which we later find out to be Yasu but she has different talents from them so they a

I have mixed feelings about this book. For me, it took some time to get into. This author comes highly recommended. This is my second book I've read by her. Not sure if I will try a 3rd book. Maybe it's just me? Or her writing style?
