Wicked Lovely was my first introduction into faeries and I loved every second of this book. I could not put it down. It is so engaging and best of all we get not just one characters point of view. this book was pretty good i have to admit but i kinda thought it would have more of a plot. Basically it's just about Aislinn making a choice. I admire the creativity in the book though, or maybe it isn't so original but i don't know it. For a faery book it's pretty good and for me, that's saying something cos for some reason, I really don't like faeries...

I have only made it through the first couple chapters, but I am already completely captivated by the story and the characters. It is sooooo hard to put this book down, I'm already giving up sleep for it, it is that good. More to come as I read.....

Wicked Lovely was, without a doubt, one of the most unique YA books I have read. First of all, there's the universe. I was a bit nervous about the idea of faeries and was pleasantly surprised. Marr does not gloss over any of the horrors commited by faeries in traditional texts, and even encourages them by beginning each chapter with a quote about faery exploits. It was all appropriately horrific and enchanting.

Then there is the romance. Marr breaks the soul-mate stereotype I usually read in YA,
