Wow. This book is very similar to Lament by Stiefvater. I believe I liked Lament better. The idea of people becoming fairies let alone fairy Queens is a little far fetched. I could see the marriage to a King making one a Queen, but just taking another's place just seemed a little off. I did enjoy the story and may read the sequels.

This could easily pass for a stand-alone book. After all, the author went safe and gave everyone a happy ending. I don't think I'll follow up on it though.
