This one was much better than the last one. I thought it was creative and funny and a lot more entertaining than the first book. In all honesty I thought the first book was very bleh!

I still think Sookie can do much better than Bill. He is very boring and although he is protective it is a little excessively so. (view spoiler)

Oddly, I liked this one more than the first book, mainly because it differed more from the TV series and stuck closely to the Sookie-Bill-Eric storyline. I realise they have to flesh out the minor characters for TV, but really they have little interest for me. I'm looking forward to the next one. ...more
