Again, I enjoyed this, but it just seemed slow to pick up. However, once it picked up, I really enjoyed it. By the time I got to the end, I was immediately ready to start the next book. Hopefully, that one will pick up speed much sooner.
I liked the interaction between Kate and her “friends” this time. Maybe that’s what was so slow in the first one and the beginning of this one. I like for her to interact with people, not just be the lone warrior she feels she needs to be.

Love this series. Kate and Curran are a great couple. Never a dull moment between those two. Already reading book 3.
