What Members Thought

I love the Mercy Thompson series. This series is a little side trip from that series. We learn more about Charles, Samuels brother, and Bran, their father. We also meet new werewolves and a story or two about them. We learned in one of the earlier Mercy Thompson books that a werewolf had attacked a girl, but had not killed her. What resulted from that was that girl is now a werewolf. This is her story right after meeting Charles and then becoming his mate. Anna has a lot of internal conversation

Re-read 12/4/11
I enjoyed Cry Wolf so much again I increased it to 5 stars. We see Anna go from an abused frightened woman/wolf to a happily married Omega woman/wolf, who will kill if it is required. Really enjoy this series as much as the Mercy Thompson one.

I really enjoyed this book, and it does help to have read the short story in On the Prowl. It is Mercy Thompson's world but without her.
