What a fantastic ride this book was! I really love Anna and Charles together. The world of werewolves that Briggs sets up is intricate and believable. Anna is the perfect combination of a strong yet vulernable heroine. Turned against her will and abused by her old pack Anna is a survivor. Despite wondering WTH for the first few chapters it was really good. The story started mid story. Apparently I missed reading the prequel. I do enjoy the world that Patricia Biggs has created. Mercy kind of annoyed me in the other series but I liked Charles and Anna a bit better. I think I may give Mercy a 3rd chance just to continue on in the world created.
