People are starting to wonder if I'm capable of training a successor.

Al MacBharrais is a Sigil Agent trying desperately to train a successor. Al discovers that his seventh apprentice (now deceased as his six predecessors) was involved in Fae smuggling.

I so wanted to love this book. I adore the Iron Druid series and was looking forward to starting this one. I switched back and forth between listening and reading to see if it made any difference.

Read for SOS: BSB: R23: Free Space

In my mind, Kevin Hearne's books belong in one of two categories: Oberon or Not-Oberon. Unfair? Probably, but true nonetheless. Blessedly, Ink and Sigil does contain a chance meeting with my favorite Irish wolfhound - however brief. Simply by including the most loavble hound, my review rating increases by a full star.
