FYI, intrepid readers: Do NOT read the blurbage/description for Blameless (book 3 of the series) until after you have read Changeless. It contains a major spoiler.
I am in a state. Changeless has a twist of an ending that I could not possibly have considered, and it has left me bereft and confused and so distraught that I’m not sure how Miss Carriger will fix the situation. I just…ugh! I’m wide-eyed and slack-jawed with shock and still shaking my head and I think I will continue doing so until we ...more

I knew it, I knew it, I knew.
A humanization plague as they call it is affecting a part of London, making all supernaturals well naturals for the time. And now it seems to have made it's way to Scotland. Alexia with her mishmash group of people are heading there to a) find her husband and b) figure out what has caused this to happen. But nothing ever goes as planed and smooth for Alexia it seems and she has many moments a head of her.
So yeah like I said, I knew it. I saw it coming, the ending. I ...more

What a fun book!
I listened to the audiobook for this one and the narrator did an excellent job! Lots of colorful characters were brought to life by her voice and I enjoyed her interpretation immensely.
I remembered Alexia fondly from the previous book, but I'd forgotten a lot of things about her, her sharp wit and sarcastic humor among them. I love her levelheadedness and her pragmatism almost as much as her independent way of thinking.

Alexia rides on a dirigible to Scotland. Lord Maccon is visiting his old pack there and something is rotten in Scotland. Who is spying on Alexia, who tried to poison her, and why is she off her feed? There is also a plague of some sorts that makes werewolves and vampires unable to change. Can Alexia and friends figure it out?
Alexia is witty as usual which makes for a interesting read besides what all is going on around her.

This is quite good though not as good as the first one.
Alexia, now Lady Maccon has a new mystery to solve. A plague of humanization has descended onto London, and no one know why.
As the plague suddenly moved away from London, Lord Maccon visited Scotland to go to his previous pack. There are words that his pack no longer able to shift to their werewolves for some time.
New characters are introduce like Madam Lefoux and Lady Kingnal, Connal's great-great-great-granddaughter.

This was a filler book. Very little is done. Her husband and gay vamp friend are hardly in it. Where was the witty banter from the first one? Also I was already a third of the way finished with this one when I heard about the cliffhanger ending. So I then was in a quandry, should I finish or put away until book 3 comes out? Since I detest cliffhanger endings, if I had owned this book I would have put it away but, since I had gotten from the library and they had actually bought at my request I fe

This was great!
The story started off where the last book left off with a new character that will most likely play a large part in the next book.
The way the book ended makes me eager for the 3rd book to come out in September!
This is a very good series that has some twists and turns that kept me interested in the story line and made me care for the characters. Especially the way this book ended.
