What Members Thought

I liked this well enough to continue with the series, but it wasn’t the most amazing thing I’ve read. It was very Indiana Jones-ish, which is a good thing. The romance was sweet and the action was fun, but I didn’t feel much of a connection to Thalia or Gabriel. Reviews of Scoundrel said the series picked up, so I’m sticking with it for awhile.

This book played out like a zelda game. Go here to do this, then go somewhere else to do something else to get another challenge and on and on and on leading up to a boss fight that just isn't as climactic as it should be because you are so worn out from the journey.
