So apparently I read this forever ago? I don't really remember it, but then again, maybe that's why I had some deja vu moments? I don't know. It was okay. A little predictable at times, but I definitely think I will read the next one to see how things turn out.

Well, I'll admit, I was so hesitant to read this book because of fear of a House of Night or Vampire Academy knock off. BOY was I wrong, wrong, WRONG! This book grabbed me from the beginning, it sunk it's teeth in and refused to let go. It is in no way a knock off, it is a story all it's own. I loved Sophie's witt, her way of handling snotty chicks but basically, she was just down right funny.

I have always enjoyed reading about witches since I was little. There has always been something really intriguing about them and I was jealous of how they could cast a spell and make things easier.
I remember the first time I watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Willow almost instantly became my favourite character because of who she was. A little shy but a very good friend and she always had the best intentions even though she made mistakes sometimes.

I have been holding off on this book for so long and I don't know why, but it was amazing. I haven't read that many witch books, because I had this strange feeling that they would not be as good as the vampire and shifters books, but boy was I wrong, you learn plenty about how complicated it is to be a witch, just ask Sophie. So girl does wacked up spell that gets human yelling, "WITCH! WITCH!", and then girl gets transferred to school where ever ...more

I didn't think I was going to like this book when I first started reading it. The general theme of the book reminds me of Mean Girls at Hogwarts. I thought it was going to be predictable but when it got the end I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be reading the next one in the series!

I did not finish this book. The one type of paranormal i won't read is stuff about demons. The girl is one. So didn't finish. From what i heard i'm not missing out on anything but not doing so.

It was surprisingly good.
It has the usual supernatural YA elements, and the female narrator is only quite annoying.
I like the whole supernatural-demon thing goin' on, though. ...more

This book wasn't great, but it was good enough that I devoured it in less than a day.
