As of 5/5/2023 I've officially read this 12 times in 15 years making it one of my most read books. I am so crazy excited to now read my ARC copy of Cassiel's Servant that I won! Woot!

My Thoughts: I'll start by saying this was my second time trying to read this book. The first I did not get past the second chapter. While taking part in different memes and Goodreads groups I kept seeing this series mentioned and decided to give it another try. When I made it to the end I was glad I had given it another try.

1000 pages? 96 chaps? God, this is gonna take some time to read... Hopefully I'll finish it while I can still walk on my own XD
I read 7 chapters and then skipped a little through the book and decided I rather stop my suffering. Yep, it was that bad.
One thing is that probably a big chunk of the book is her childhood and etc, and the thing is that the book doesn't seem about romance, it probably more the espionage type with spies and plans to take over the crown or w/e and add to that the fact th ...more
