Really 3.5 stars.
Second book in the Dark Elite series, sees Lily, firespell adept, schoolgirl at St Sophia's and her BFF Scout, a spellbinder, battle a new and icky creature. Think 5ft fanged, slimy creatures, as well as Vampires and Reapers.
I found the beginning of this book dreadfully slow but it eventually picked up and wasn't a bad story.
Mysterious boys, mysterious parents, but as its YA definitely nothing more than kissing some of the mysterious boys.
Not sure if I'll continue the series or ...more

I was really disappointed when I read this book. There was like no plot and everything was so predictable.
