OMG!! What a ride!! This book was fantastic!! Believe me, A Rush of Wings is one of the deepest, best constructed, fast paced, scary, heart wrenching, and well written novels in the Urban Fantasy genre out there. This novel was absolutely amazing and the writing was superb!! This is without a doubt, one of the best novels that I've had the pleasure reading in a long while. I’m truly shocked and amazed that this BRILLANT author isn't better known in the UF circles. What a shame!

The main characters in this book drew me in from the start. They have great on-paper chemistry, and tell a very captivating story together. The male lead is raw and gritty, but his female counterpart shows him that he has a good center. The whole series teaches you to look past your history and strive to be the person you want to be, regardless of what's expected of you. Grab the whole series! You won't regret it.
