The Morganville Vampires together with Vampire Academy and House of Night must be the YA vampire series trifecta. The Morganville Vampire series is slightly lesser known than the other two, but still very popular, and published in the high-days of vampire fiction in the 00's.

Claire is an exceptional student, but because her parents consider her too young, she goes to Morganville instead of Harvard or Yale. Here she meets the ultimate homicidal mean girls that have decided to make her life hell,

Decent series opener. Most of this book is world building; I started up the second novel and it definitely has me hooked.

Beside this one huge thing that irritates me (view spoiler) i liked this book.
It's full of action, there are no boring, dragging parts,it's a page turner(i just love page turner books :P)and the writer obviously knows how to invent and produce a good story.

It is a cliffhanger but it doesn't really mater ,because there are 12 or 13 book already published so no need for cursing and waitin

This is a really good read. I wouldn't mind living in Morganville, though, I'd have to have a protection bracelet! Yikes!
It starts out with Claire Danvers, a sixteen year old who is already in college. She makes a few enemies with the girls in her dorm and ends up in the Glass House with three other kids.
That's where she learns about the real Morganville, and the vampires.
Ends with a cliffhanger. But it's a great read from cover to cover!

I really liked this book. I'm excited to read the rest of the books.

Poor, really smart Claire. She just wanted to go to school and learn something with the added benefit of getting away from her parents. I couldn't believe she ended up in so much trouble. Apparently being smart is a stand out thing at the college in Morganville. That Monica girl is super crazy.

I was soo happy that Claire found some friends to help her and started sticking up for herself.

Can't wait to read more.
