I've just finished Glass Houses. What a refreshing change to have bad vamps. I really really liked it.
Luckily I've got the 2nd one & I've had a sneak peek, cause I hate cliffhangers.
I'm not much into YA and having a 16 yr old as the Heroine makes me think this should of been "Twilight" instead of Twilight. Much less angst and a lot more action, and a lot more scary. Looking forward to the next one in the series. ...more

I really liked this story! I can't stand a YA book that has the main female fall crazy in love with a guy she just meets and some how just 'knows' that they are meant to be together forever, it's fate, blah blah blah. Thank the heavens above Claire, the main female, did not do this. She was real and pulled at my heart strings from the beginning. I wanted to jump in the book and beat the living shit out of Monica or slap one of the 'blind' bystanders for not doing something. Grrr...

Ok.... it was a tad simplistic with the dialogue and the characters a bit thick and/or childish at times BUT there were some things that I actually didn't see coming.... and I loved that!

Fantastic start to a series, I can't wait to read what happens next. Warning: big cliffhanger at the end.
