Ok, so honestly, I've been over the whole Vampire thing for a long time. But this book happened to be available from the library ebook section, and so I thought...why not?
I had a terrible case of Deja Vu the first 3 chapters or so. I wracked my brain and couldn't think of any of the book that it reminded me of. I've finally come to the conclusion that I must have checked this out 4 or 5 years ago, read the first few chapters and then abandoned it. Though, I honestly ...more

Wow, I’m so glad I acquired all six of the books (out so far) at the same time. The cliffhanger ending left me so hungry for more that as soon as I finished Glass Houses I started reading The Dead Girls’ Dance right after just so I could find out what happened next. For a young adult book and a first in a series I was impressed, it’s rare to find any series that starts with a bang.

I really enjoyed this book. I wish I had picked this book up sooner. Glass houses introduce us to Claire Danvers. She is a college student in Morganville which is also the home to Vampires. I found this story very intriguing and will continue with this series.
It's not bad considering it's the first in the series. The jury is still out on the series itself. The vampires in this book are the evil to be fought against. We haven't met any good ones so far.
