I'm disappointed at how it turned out. The only reason I'm giving this book 2 stars is because Maggie saved the story and a little because of I'm interested in reading more about what's going to happen with Delilah and Menolly. I haven't read a book that actually had a gargoyle as a pet so that caught my attention. I mean how cool would it be to have a pet gargoyle?

I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed this book as much as I did after reading some of the reviews. The main character, Camille, half human and half fae witch was likable and I loved the interactions between her and her two sisters.
The premise being that Camille and her crew were trying to help keep earth safer by ensuring Shadow Wing does not start invading the planet with his demons.
Camille had two love interests which made the story more interesting.

I liked the story and the world created well enough, I could not however force myself to like camille's character. The other two sisters I love with an emphasis on Menolly, i can even forgive the weird braided hairstyle since she is such a savvy smart a$$ character.
