What a convoluted story! I listened to a couple of hours and could barely follow what's going on. The author tried to introduce new elements to the whole vampire mythology but without explaining what things meant so I was confused by all the Italian terminology.

In Eternal Hunger we are introduced to brothers Alexander, Lucian & Nicholas. This story focuses on Alexander, the eldest of the three as he reaches his vampire maturity 100yrs early and he struggles to understand why. 4 1/2 stars I read Eternal Hunger during an afternoon and evening while I had the flu. For the book to take me away from my aches and pains, fever, sniffles and coughs and deep into another world for a few hours is really saying something. Alexander was a great tortured hero with a tender side, and the impossibility of their situation even made me cry at one point.
