Celia is now trying to save her life - over and over again. It's really hard to say much about this book without spoiling it for anyone. But, you would highly recommend reading the first book before you dive into this one. Celia is starting to deal with her vampirism and while some others are starting to accept it, others just can't (they feel she should be put down). I really enjoyed this book. Celia is a great heroine. She reminds me of what I wanted to be like as a kid...kinda like a superhero but humble. She knows herself so well. It is too bad that she is black & white on the betrayal done out of love. Can't wait to read the next one! ...more

Siren Song, the 2nd book in the Bloodsinger series, did not disappoint. I really enjoyed Blood Song and SIREN SONG was a great addition to a fun, fresh UF series.

I am going to keep this short in hopes of not providing any more spoilers than the blurb/description for this book already did.

A great sequel to a very promising series!

I really like Celia and the way she faces her problems head on. Life keeps giving her lemons, but at least now we get to know some of the reasons and she gets to fix some of the wrongs in her life. But like I said, lemons. Her life is a mess but quoting the last sentences of the book: "Life doesn't stop. Not for you, not for anybody. And that's a fact."

This book starts just as slowly as the first in the series did. Adams though is well practiced in the art of foreshadowing. This is a really big plus with me. I always think this is fan-freaking-tastic. Pitfall though is that it seems that a lot of the chapters are dry, and there is no action. You either have an action packed chapter, or you have an inner reflection chapter. You've been warned.
