Once I got past the parallels to Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld Series (Mainly revolving with Clay and Elena) I found I enjoyed the book. Faythe has flaws, is young, and wants something more from her life than just baring babies and being a wife. I respect that. At times she was childish, but she did grow in the book, and that's what I like to see in my characters. It wasn't a great book to say the least. Faythe was a very difficult character to like because she was rather immature for a mid-twenty person...it's as if she waited until 18 to get her teen rebellion going and has not gotten past that stage yet. She feels like she is in an untenable situation, but instead of acting like an adult and sucking it up every once in a while she just acts extremely selfishly and
