I really enjoyed this book. There wasn't a lot of action until about half-way through the book in terms of the "Stray" and the action part of the story. However, I really enjoyed being to able to learn about the characters and their relationship to each other and the past, etc. I REALLY loved the characters.... especially Marc. I must admit that I have a crush on him ;-)

This was a great first book to this series. It's about shifters and no other paranormal being. It has the right amount of drama, suspense, romance, and bad @$$ness to make it great. I love to read about a female that can take care of herself, but isn't so rough that she can't be saved when the crap really hits the fan. Faythe can fight but she still has that femininity going. Female werecats are disappearing. A Stray werecat attempted to kidnap Faythe. Now her dad's asking her to come home for her own safety. Faythe isn't one to take confinement well and having her ex in close proximity doesn't make it any easier. Loved it!
