The books starts out quite well, even if it had striking similarities with Kelly Armstrong's Bitten,I liked it nevertheless. The first half of the book was a emotional roller coaster ride and I couldn't stop reading. The drama and the tension was played out well and I felt sorry for Marc.
What I hated about this book (apart from the horrible name - Faythe) was well...Faythe herself. She was such a child. She was spoilt and downright bratty. She was so well looked after by her brothers an ...more

This book was pretty good. I like the suspense in the novel and the variation from werewolves to werecats. The only thing that I don't like about this book is that it reminded me a little bit about Bitten by Kelley Armstrong. I think that the relationship between Faith and Mark could have had more to it and I also wish it would have gone more into what happened to them before.

It was a good book. Wasn't too into the beginning and ended up putting the book away for a later date to finish it. I'm not huge on love triangles or ex's coming back to be the lover again and was kinda hoping for a bit more of the romance relationship between Faythe and Marc in the end too. Overall it was enough to make me want to read the next book in the series.

I can't quite put my finger on why I didn't enjoy this as much as I hoped. The story line was good, The writing was great. Faythe wasn't the most likable main character. She seemed a bit fickle, maybe it was just the cat in her. The plot got a little brutal, I am not sure I want to continue with the series but I put the next book on my TBR list for someday, maybe.

A good story! Well-rounded first-person perspective of a girl trying to be independent after growing up 'overprotected.' She matures through the book while staying true to her principles. Definitely recommended for the supernatural-loving crowd :)
