Faythe is one of only eight female werecats of childbearing age in the country. Her father, the Alpha of a Pride, always had his own plans for her future but five years ago she decided to take her life in her own hands and left home. She went to college, got herself a boyfriend and tried to live a "normal" life.

This book was pretty good. I like the suspense in the novel and the variation from werewolves to werecats. The only thing that I don't like about this book is that it reminded me a little bit about Bitten by Kelley Armstrong. I think that the relationship between Faith and Mark could have had more to it and I also wish it would have gone more into what happened to them before.

It was a good book. Wasn't too into the beginning and ended up putting the book away for a later date to finish it. I'm not huge on love triangles or ex's coming back to be the lover again and was kinda hoping for a bit more of the romance relationship between Faythe and Marc in the end too. Overall it was enough to make me want to read the next book in the series.

This book was alright. It kept my interest though I found myself annoyed with Faythe's personality (and her name spelling) at times. Plus the fact that I feel like I've already read parts of this story as it's kind of similar to the first Underworld series book.
Will probably read the next one as I'm somewhat interested to find out what happened to Andrew. ...more

I can't quite put my finger on why I didn't enjoy this as much as I hoped. The story line was good, The writing was great. Faythe wasn't the most likable main character. She seemed a bit fickle, maybe it was just the cat in her. The plot got a little brutal, I am not sure I want to continue with the series but I put the next book on my TBR list for someday, maybe.
