When I got this book, I was supper excited and labeled it as "next to read". However, when I finished the book I was currently reading, I read the last personal notes I wrote on the Vampire Academy 5. It wasn't pretty... So I was torn from reading what happens next and the disappointment on the way things turned out in the previous book. So being coward, I read a different book right before this. I figured, give that author a chance too since I knew this book would be awesome.

I was a bit disappointed with this book. Maybe my expectations were higher than they should have been for it, I don't know. I also don't think that I should have ended this series with dislike for Rose, but I did.
I think the growth that Rose experienced within the series did not really end how it should have. She attempted to grow up, but I still saw a lot of immaturity in her, like she was trying to hard.

A total disappointment. I don't know if you're like me but I from the beginning i have read this series because of Rose and how strong her character is, plot twists and to be surprised. Well, after reading all the other books and being extremely excited about this one, I ended frustrated and cursing Richelle Mead for ruining a perfectly good series. First of all the book is completely rushed, no plot twists, very out of character scenes, everything about Lissa(which I hate), stupid ending, etc.

A good ending, though too easily perfect for my liking, but it really could have been worse considering the butchering tendancies authors tend to have by the end of their series!
As always, I loved Richelle's writting and Rose's determination. I think that what disappointed me a little was the fact that through most of the book Rose and her lover spent their time reabiliting their relationship rather than living it.

I loved this book so much! It was may favorite of the series so far and I look forward to the next adventure with Rose and her friends.
