I enjoyed this book. It was a different world, very well written, a bit slow paced, but a good story, complex, with real and likeable characters.

I adore the Kate Daniels series, and I was looking forward to reading more from Andrews. The world-building of On the Edge is intriguing - our world is mirrored by a magical world, and the two are joined by a thin area known as the Edge, where magic is less strong.

Rose has lived in the Edge all of her life, and is barely scraping by. Then a magical aristocrat shows up on her doorstep, spelling trouble. Two plots, one romantic, one more to do with wider world, intertwine.

LOVED this book. It is a great action packed, fun sexy romance, and a HEA all rolled into one. I couldn't put it down. The hero, Declan, is smoldering hot and the heroine, Rose, can kick some butt. I loved the premise for the book. You have our world (the Broken) the magical world (The Weird) and where the two meet you have The Edge (a little of both worlds). Kind of like a border town.
