The Ilona Andrews team can really do no wrong, and the only reason this book is at 4 stars rather than 5 stars is that my love for it wasn't quite as great as my love for Kate Daniels is. But it has the characteristic action, tension, kick-ass heroine, romance, dreamy hero and incredible world building that the Kate Daniels series has. Rose Drayton is very cool - a single carer for her two little brothers in a realm that exists between The Broken (our world) and The Weird (the world of magic). E ...more
