I'll admit I was putting this off. Nothing can live up to the kate daniels series.
you are looking at a true believer. Anything with the name Ilona Andrews on it is an instant buy from here on out.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would – I think the naff cover put me off a bit, but it turned out to be a great read. I loved the relationship with the family, especially the little brothers who I think may have stolen the show, and I particularly liked the elderly neighbour who held tea parties with her teddy bears named Mr. Clooney, Mr. Pitt and Mr. Bana, lol! I laughed out loud when she met Declan and wanted to get a new bear with blond hair ;)

I like this book and am interested in #2, which will be the story of William. I liked that, though I love the Kate Daniels series and there are some similarities, this was definitely a departure and doens't just seem like the same characters with different names.
