Honestly I was expecting this one to be a lot worse, meaning, I knew this was contemporary YA and angels themed (not my favorite combination, although I LOVED Unearthly; and if you’re asking why I had Fallen in the first place, well, I won it in a giveaway), so I feared I would eventually give up, put the book down and never look at it again, but that never happened, I actually wanted to finish it, wanted to see where the author was going, and what the final events would bring to the protagonist

This book i thought had some promise to it the main character Luce is sent to a reform school sword and cross because she is mentally insane and because everyone thinks she killed this guy that she was interested in.
This book starts off really really really really..really lol slow i was about to stab myself in the eye wondering when it was going to pick up or if it was going to at all. The main character is frankly very annoying she whines and sulks over this guy Daniel Grigori for most of the ...more

I couldn't decide whether I thought this book deserved 4 stars or 5 stars, so I'm just going to split the difference and give it 4.5 stars.
Fallen was good. I enjoyed it. I haven't read many stories with angels. So, I would say this was a good one to read to dip my toes into the water.
I was kind of unsure about what was going on during the first half of the book. I guess now that I've finished it I get why. I wondered why things didn't get explained earlier, but since we're following Luce's thoug ...more

I DID NOT like this book. I liked the setting, but the characters, Blah. Plus I always like the character that the character is in love with. but I'm TEAM CAM, Daniel.....>:P The story was slow at the begining and not all that interesting at the end. I read all the book until around the 110 page, after that i skimmed but read all of it too, after the 150 page I speed-read, when I got to about page 200 I skipped everything that did not have dialogue which is the only reason I finished the whole b

The bones for a terrific story are here, unfortunately it fell a little short. I think the author intended us to follow Lucinda's footsteps on the path of discovery. Unfortunately, I got there before Luce and felt that for a supposedly smart girl, she was a little oblivious. Luce and Daniel's love is a tragic romance. How do I know that? Because the author, through Daniel, told Luce so. Not because I felt or saw it in any of their interactions. Overall there is great potential here, enough that
