I'm not sure what all the hype was about to be honest. For two thirds of the book I was completely bored. It was a sad slow story about a girl who sees shadows, has serious issues with keeping a boyfriend and is strangely drawn to a guy who treats her like a Katy Perry song. I kept asking myself when am I going to get to the good part. After a slow start, I found myself sucked in to this YA angels story - although it took an awful long time to find out that that was what this book was about. I was reading this for a book challenge about angels and it was only about halfway through that I was sure it met the criteria.

Still, the story was intriguing. I can totally see it on film - as I read I pictured various characters from Glee in the supporting cast (Dianna Agron as Molly, Ashley Fink as Penn) and Cam was definitely Nicholas
