To be honest, I have sort of become tired of young adult books. I'll always be a huge Harry Potter fan, and some of the YA books I read in the 70's are classic (Judy Blume or Paula Danziger, anyone?) Nevertheless, I just can't bring myself to read Twilight or any of the other teen vampire or witch stories. Fans, please don't hurt me.

It's somehow between 3.5 and 4 stars.
The thing that i don't like about this book is its use of first person point of view. I never really feel that i get the full story using 1st person pov. I'm always scared to read YA books because I never connect with the characters.
Well, I can't really connect with Katniss and Peeta because I'm not playing a game where I have to kill people to survive. But I can connect with just plain surviving.
I couldn't figure out if the Capital was Washington DC or if it was Los Angeles. If it isn't L.A. then I'm screwed.
