All right so this book was just as amazing the second time as it was the first time. I would still give it a 4 star even possibly a 4.5 star.
I love the throw into action by the end of the first chapter you are already immersed into their world. You understand some of the basics of the deadly Hunger Games and what it means to survive. I love that you don't have to know everything from the get go and that it works everything that is essential into the first chapter. After this ever ...more

Great book, I really enjoyed this Trilogy!
From the first page, I was hooked. 'The Hunger Games' has a really good pace to it. Plus the characters are great. The Games was pretty interesting. Twisted, yes. But still interesting. I hated how the book ended though. It completely leaves you hanging. At least it does make you want to read the next one. Overall, an amazing book and can't wait to read the next one.

Absolutely riveting! Don't let the dystopian setting deter you, this series is fantastic. Nothing paranormal, no vamps, wolves, faeries or immortals and yet I devoured it. I HIGHLY recommend the series. It helped that it's complete because I have so many series going at present.

Amazing book.
I am not usually into this type of storyline but to anyone that enjoys a suspenseful book with lots of action- you need to read this. I loved the characters most of all in this book.
I cannot wait to read the next 2 in the trilogy!
