I thought this book was the best of the trilogy! Weird considering most people thought it was the worst. Probably because it was so different from the first two. Maybe that is why I liked it the best.

Although I felt like she rushed the ending, it was still an amazing ending to the hunger games. I didn't really expect Katniss to turn out like that in the end. It does make sense that she did though. Especially after all that she's been through. But, I did expect her to choose the right guy when it was all over, which she did. I'm not looking forward to this one becoming a movie. There is so many scenes that would be even more heartbreaking on film than they already are. Overall, a good ending

The Hunger Games then Catching Fire. Lastly Mockingjay. This book is completely different then the first two.
I had a hard time getting into it, but eventually I did.
As I said before this isn't a romantic series so I wasn't invested on WHO will Katniss end up with. My main goal was to find out what happens now that Katniss has lost her home, Peeta and now she is a rebel.

I finished this book with a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat. Maybe it wasn't as good as the previous two books, but I suspect that was due to a lack of Peeta. Like many, I now anxiously await the movie(s).
