The exceptional thing about Firelight by Sophie Jordan is that it is so different from all the other paranormal romances that bombard Young Adult shelves. The world that is created is unique and mesmerizing. I would love to be a Draki. It sounds way fun, and dangerous.

Fun, suprising and full of forbidden love. I enjoyed this story a lot more than I thought I was going to. I've learned I'm not very big on the stories that have alpha's (wolf stories) and when I learned this one had the draki in a pride with an alpha, I assumed I'd end up putting it right along with the wolf stories. Not so. Sophie Jordan's draki fascinated and intrigued me and I'm eager to learn more about them and the different kinds of draki. She also introduced something called an enkros but ...more

This book is just another version of the Twilight. Most of it was unoriginal. And just when something interesting started brewing, the book ended.
