It read like a script, quick action.....a bit like Da Vinci code style. It was effective narrative if not overly elaborate. The biggest problem was that Cade wasn't believable as a vampire. Oh, he was deadly to be sure...just silently threatening. Despite my ranting I could not put the book down and wish to know who will play super villain.

Kept me on the edge of my seat and turning pages right until the end. Thrillers (especially with heavy political and conspiracy elements) are not my usual cup of tea, but I really enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward the reading the next two! ;)

Hit a little too close to home, with the soldiers being cut up. Is more of a government spy mystery then a paranormal book. It has some vampires. I did like how it had the nations history woven into the story.
A perfect modern Vampire thriller...in Bram Stoker tradition!
