Meh...I had high hopes for this book, I really did. Until I began to read it, that is. The characters seemed shallow to the point of cardboard, and none of them had any qualities that made me the least bit interested in them. I'm on the fence between 2.5 and 3 stars. The plot line had a few minor, but forgivable in a new author, problems. There were interesting secondary characters with potential. The major problem was how unlikable I found the main characters. Frankly, I didn't really care whether they achieved their HEA or not. I just plodded on reading in order to find out the overall outcome of the conflict between the Sentinels and Synestryn. I'm sort of interested in Lexie's story, but I'm not really enthusiast
