All of this series is fantastic. So much better than the series on tv
Alright, so I guess the reason this gets only 3 (generous) stars is probably because it was so hyped up in my head (I work in a bookstore, you know, so people are always talking about it). It didn't live up to my expectations. I thought it would be cleverer, funnier, with better writing. What was the worst though, was that I HATED Bill! I couldn't stand him at all. Love vamp books, especially when the mc is not a vamp.
Book was ok, but I thought it was a little slow. Maybe it is because I had already saw True Blood before staring this book.
This was a fun, light, highly enjoyable read.
I absolutely adore the Sookie Stackhouse series.
All the different paranormal aspects make for a fantastic book, but the vampires will always remain my favourite.
I will admit that the amazing Eric Northman was a huge reason for why I read the book. Seriously, you just can't get any better than that!
