This is the first book in this series and after reading the description I was really excited to read it. I was a bit disappointed with the first couple of chapters as it never really grabbed me and took a really long time to pick up steam.
I will say that I am quite glad I stuck with it as I did eventually end up enjoying the premise and the story.

This one took me a while to get in to. This book was just okay for me. The writing isn't bad, the plot is interesting, but I felt a barrier between me and what was happening. I think there was so much internal dialogue that the reader misses out on certain scenes. The end was so abrupt I had to read it several times.
