Good book. I was into it. The bad guy was telegraped a bit early for me, which is what kept this from getting the last star, but I will be reading more about Toby Daye.
October "Toby" Daye, is half human/half Daoine Fae, mother of Gillian, P.I.
Unfortunately, her better half and daughter don't know about the Fae and when she goes missing for 14 yrs and is presumed dead, then suddenly reappears without a believable story, her private life goes to hell. (This isn't a spoiler as it all happens in the first couple of pages).
This is a great adventure tale about the Fae living uneasily beside us humans and the changelings that try to straddle both sides of the fence. ...more
