An entertaing read. :) it's like Stephanie plum meets supernaturals in old London. :) I don't find myself laughing out loud as much because this whole skirts and umbrella business is all new to me. I'm not one to be interested in bloomers, petticoats and parasols. So it was like relearning a forgotten culture.
Anyway, I liked this series so much that I read the 3 books straight. Well it couldn't be helped. They all had teasers for the next book in the end.

It started out really slow to me. Around the middle it picked up. Then I didn't want to put it down. Alexia is a great character. Definitely going to read the rest of the series.

It was ok. Some parts were a tad bit boring. Other bits I found myself a little lost. Lord Akeldama was by far my favorite character. The science talk kept my interest the best. Will I read the rest, maybe at some point, but they arent on the top of my list.
Not really a romance, nut there was an aspect of it. I did enjoy the world created here and the plot. I do look forward to seeing what other trouble Alexia gets into.
