Another take on the Vamp world, but I struggled to get through this book.

While I couldn't shake the feeling that this was just Dark Lover with Rogue vamps taking the place of Lessers, I really quite enjoyed this book. Lucan was yummy in a Black Dagger Brotherhood kind of way, and the smexy scenes were very hot. I also loved the other brothers - um, warriors - and their shellans - oh, never mind! - and loved the whole Batcave feel of their compound.
So, it looks like I've started yet another series. Yep, I'll be reading the others, probably pretty soon. I believe Dant ...more

Great book! Really enjoyed it!

I'm glad I read the 2nd book - 'Kiss of Crimson' - by accident first.
This book wasn't too bad but I enjoyed the second book more. I found the characters pretty frustrating. Especially the development of the romance between the two leads - didn't get the hot/cold thing at all.
Will it stop me from finishing the series - probably not ...more
