Not sure what to say about this one, just that I was definitely expecting a lot more from it.
I liked the heroine Abbey, and the mysterious-ghostly tone of it all, which was the main reason for me to scarcely put the book down while it wasn’t over, but on the other hand, once it was, I felt like it failed me, because there’s hardly the element of surprise in the final revelation.
Another thing that bothered me was the hero, Caspian, because he’s such a passive character, a trait that doesn’t help ...more

It's really three and a half stars. It didn't really go anywhere till the last fifty-some pages. It was basically a novel about girl hurting from the loss of a best friend. The ending was horribly written, it sounded like the author only had five minutes before deadline and threw together something. Actually maybe horrible is a little extreme, it just didn't flow with the story.
