I've read worse... but this was ridiculous.
The characters were stereotypes in the extreme. They weren't even made interesting.
Julian's pervy comments were overdone. It came off as Kenyon trying too hard to be funny.... It came across that way with other characters too. Eros' "spoon in the jelly jar" ... Really?
The story had a lot of potential and it just ended up falling flat.
It was predictable and overflowing with sap and cheese. ...more

The whole DH series is awesome! This is the start of the series, and even though it didn't have much to do with Dark-Hunters, I still love it. I read this book about three times because I enjoyed it so much! The mixture of present-day and characters from Greek mythology was fascinating. And the chemistry between Julian and Grace was a hot and steamy mixture. Some might tell you that you can skip this book in the series, but I wouldn't. Definitely recommend!
