I enjoyed this book, but would only give it 3.5*, because while I loved the world and storyline, I didn't feel as emotionally invested in the hero/heroine's relationship as I would have wanted.. It seemed too rushed and a little forced to me.. Everything happense in less than a week, the heroine doesn't blink when confronted with the existence of shapeshifting dragons and the knowledge that she's destined to bear a child that will save the world.. To be honest, 'Kiss of Fire' definitely isn't a favorite book. But, it wasn't horrible. There were a few details that irritated me. Like how simple the writing was. Also, the dragon forms were a little hard to follow; as in which dragon is who in human form. Sara had some quirks I could do without. Overall, the book was good enough for me to finish and made me want to read the others to find out what happens.

This was a nice enjoyable read and I'll definitely be continuing on to the next book. The world building was done well and the universe itself was interesting.
